Ethanol based.

The Gel Hand Sanitiser shows a 5 log reduction of all microorganisms tested after a contact time of 30 seconds. Besides the excellent bactericidal activity, the product shows a very good bacteriostatic and long lasting activity against the gram-positive Straphylococcus aureus and the gram-negative Escherichia coli. Even two hours after the application of this product a very good growth inhibition against S. aureus and E. coli, which are involved in hospital infections, is obtained.

Dermasoft Gel Hand Sanitiser is a self drying, non-fragranced, broad kill, anti-bacterial hand sanitiser. It is effective against gram positive and gram negative organisms achieving a bacteria kill rate of 90% within 30 seconds of contact.
